I was drunk when I got there, and used the time to get sober. That being stated, I really like this bar. It is an absolute dive. Exposed concrete floors that are none too even, dirty walls and all. As the manager, Dakota, put it to me, "You can paint it up however you want but this is a dive and that's all it's ever gonna be." I like her because she told me I had spunk. I don't know why I had spunk, but if she says so I believe her. Also she told me to move out of Ktown before I get stabbed...I thought this was a pretty safe area but I suppose not... Her husband Phil is cool too. He got up and started to play the tambourine with gusto during this dude's music set. And they have trivia and sometimes karaoke... If you live anywhere near this bar you should be a regular here. The beach bum barfly crowd and the low key, drink till everyone is fun atmosphere is exactly my kind of place. When I left around 1, my yummy crew was still having mad fun in the front section. Nice to see everyone drinking to their hearts and livers content. I'm starting to remember why I do these posts the next day...a whole lot of typos need correcting so I'm gonna head straight for...
